Dear Parent, Guardian, or Staff Member,
This posting serves as notice that a pesticide with a trade name of Bifenthrin I/T and an EPA registration number of 66000-196 is scheduled to be applied on Friday, May 16, 2025, at each elementary school inside the perimeter of the playgrounds. This application is being done to manage ticks as part of our Integrated Pest Management Program to ensure a safe and healthy school environment. Signs will also be posted before this application takes place, and will remain at least 48 hours after the application per the district's IPM plan and in compliance with the Maine Board of Pesticides Control Regulation CMR 01-026 Chapter 27.

PUBLIC NOTICE: APRIL 2025 RE: DESTRUCTION OF SPECIAL EDUCATION RECORDS Notice is hereby given that MSAD 6 intends to destroy the records of all students who were exited from any special education program with a birth date prior to 12/31/1998. In accordance with federal and state laws, special education records are maintained until the student reaches age 26. Any student or former student, who has reached 18 years of age may review and/or receive these records by contacting the MSAD 6 Special Education Office at 207-929-2317 to schedule an appointment by May 30, 2025. DESTRUCTION OF RECORDS WILL BEGIN ON July 18, 2025 If no student, parent, or guardian responds to this public notice, the school district will assume consent to destroy the entire record specific to the student.
