MSAD 6 Schools Closed, Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
Good afternoon,
After careful consideration and consultation with weather forecasters and local emergency management, Bonny Eagle schools will be closed, Tuesday, December 2, 2025 due to expected snowfall that will be heavy once it starts and predicted hazardous road conditions beginning in the middle of the day through the evening.
While you won’t likely see snow on the ground in the morning, I feel it is not safe or productive to bring students in for a half day of school at best and risk sending students and staff home on roads that are anticipated to become hazardous by 12:00.
I apologize for any inconvenience but I feel this is the best decision for student safety.
I am letting the community know in advance, rather than waiting until morning, so families can make plans. I won’t always be able to notify families in advance but feel that in this circumstance it is the right thing to do.
