How does it work?
Title I support at the Bonny Eagle Elementary School level involves support in the areas of literacy and mathematics. This program is for students who are experiencing difficulty in meeting grade level benchmarks in reading or math. Students will receive differentiated instruction, using many teaching strategies both in and out of the classroom. District based assessment data will be used to make determinations as to which students will receive services.
Students will receive targeted instruction, progress will be monitored, and students will be reassessed. This is not intended to take the place of regular classroom instruction, but used as a supplemental program to target specific needs. If it is determined that needs have been met at the time of reassessment, students continue on with their regular classroom activities.
